Preview — Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episode 3: Living Dead Things
Elizabeth searches for comfort after a surprising discovery on Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episode 3, “Living Dead Things.”
While the episode description doesn’t reveal much regarding the discovery, it doesn’t need to after Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episodes 1 and 2, “Little Miss Hastings / Her and Him.” The ending to the latter leaves little to the imagination of why Elizabeth would be feeling isolated and alone.
At least she has Six-Thirty to help her through this difficult time.

Elizabeth has Six-Thirty and Harriet, as “Living Dead Things” will see the former find solace in a blossoming friendship with the latter. Considering Brie Larson and Aja Naomi King don’t share a single scene in Lessons in Chemistry‘s first two episodes, this development is a positive one.
However, the circumstances that push the women together are far less than ideal.
It’s going to be tough to watch Elizabeth, Six-Thirty, Harriet, and even the staff at Hastings navigate what happened to Calvin.
Elsewhere, the photos for “Living Dead Things” tease that Harriet will continue her work as a legal aid. Whether the case she’s working on is the same fight for her neighborhood or a new one will be revealed when the new episode of Lessons in Chemistry‘ streams on Friday, October 20, on Apple TV+.
