What to Expect from Doc Season 2 Episode 14: When You Know, You Know
The emotional bombs will fall on Doc Season 2 Episode 14, “When You Know, You Know.”
Doc Season 2, Episode 13, “Fare Well,” turned out to be a rather feel-good episode. Sonja and Amy each competed for the Chief Resident job. Given the state of their relationship, that had to potential to be pretty contentious.
Instead, both of them ended up with uplifting, albeit very different, wins with the patients they were treating. Not only that, but the two made more progress repairing their relationship through the competition.
Most interestingly, viewers learned that Amy actually fought to get Sonja hired at Westside. While Sonja doesn’t know that, it does reframe their entire history for viewers.
The good feelings came to an abrupt stop at the end of the episode, though, when Katie had a panic attack, brought on by feeling caught in the middle of her parents’ drama.
On “When You Know, You Know,” we’ll see the emotional fallout from that crisis. As alluded to in the episode description, Katie very appropriately starts seeing a therapist, who invites Amy and Michael to join one of their sessions.
This proves difficult for Michael, who isn’t interested in rehashing the past. That might be because of what appears to be the biggest revelation from the promo. Michael apparently cheated on Amy. Or at least that’s what Amy thinks based on a new memory.
There has to be more to the story. Shows don’t just drop gamechangers like that in a promo. Even if Amy’s memory is accurate, and we have no reason to think that it’s not, it is almost certainly the first catalyst of a larger development for the characters and their relationships.
