Vote for Your Favorite TV Couples! Tell-Tale TV’s Battle of the Ships 2026 (Round 2)

It’s time for Round 2 of the Battle of the Ships! 

Tell-Tale TV’s Battle of the Ships is an annual set of polls that gives readers an opportunity to vote for their favorite TV couples and the characters that they’re currently shipping the most.

The top 12 couples you voted for from each category in Round 1 of the 2026 Battle of the Ships have now moved on to the second round of the competition (or more in the case of one tie). There are a total of four categories.

For couples you most want to see sail (or get back together), nominees in Round 2 include Buck and Eddie (9-1-1), Morgan and Karadec (High Potential), Allie and Dead (Off Campus), and Percy and Annabeth (Percy Jackson & the Olympians), among others.

Nominees in Round 2 for favorite TV couple in a comedy or animated series include Janine and Gregory (Abbott Elementary), Georgie and Mandy (Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage), Kitty and Min Ho (XO, Kitty), Hetty and Trevor (Ghosts), and more.

For favorite TV couple in a sci-fi or fantasy series, nominees in Round 2 include Kat and Elliot (The Way Home), Jamie and Claire (Outlander), Alice and Max (The Way Home), and Helen and Carol (Pluribus), among others.

Nominees in Round 2 for favorite TV couple in a drama series include Bradford and Chen (The Rookie), Tony and Ziva (NCIS: Tony and Ziva), Hannah and Dean (Chicago Med), Angela and Wesley (The Rookie), and more.

But again, that’s just naming a few! There are many more nominees listed in the polls below.

Note that for this round, unlike the first round, you may only vote for one choice in each category. Voting is open until Thursday, September 17th at 9:00pm EST! You can vote once a day (every 24 hours) until voting closes.

Make sure to click “vote” after each category.

The top 6 couples from each category will move on to the final round, which begins on Friday, September 18th.

Category #1: Ship You’d Most Like to See Sail (or Sail Again!)

What characters do you want to see get together as a couple already? Or, if they’ve already been a couple, which one do you want to see reunite? For this category, the show must have aired within the time frame, the show must be currently airing, and the characters must currently be on the show or have the potential to return.

Category #2: Favorite TV Couple in a Comedy or Animated Series

For this category, couples must come from comedy or animated series that aired between August 2025 and July 2026, and characters must have been on the show during that time frame. You may vote for one choice per category in this round.

Category #3: Favorite Couple in a Sci-fi/Fantasy Series

For this category, ships must come from sci-fi or fantasy series that aired between August 2025 and July 2026, and characters must have been on the show during that time frame. You may vote for one choice per category in this round.

 

Category #4: Favorite TV Couple in a Drama Series

For this category, ships must come from drama series that aired between August 2025 and July 2026, and characters must have been on the show during that time frame. You may vote for one choice per category in this round.
