Battle of the Ships 2026: Results! 9-1-1, Adults, The Way Home, and Heated Rivalry Have This Year’s Winning Couples

The results are in! After three rounds of voting, it’s time to find out the official winners of our annual Battle of the Ships.

For the past few weeks, our readers have voted for the couples they most want to see get together (or get back together) and their favorite TV couples in comedy series, drama series, and sci-fi or fantasy series.

Some of the couples that made it to the final round this year included Allie and Dean (Off Campus), Buck and Eddie (9-1-1), Hetty and Trevor (Ghosts), and Percy and Annabeth (Percy Jackson & the Olympians), Georgie and Mandy (Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage), Gregory and Janine (Abbott Elementary), Kitty and Min Ho (XO, Kitty), and Paul Baker and Anton (Adults), Helen and Carol (Pluribus), Jamie and Claire (Outlander), Kat and Elliot (The Way Home), Maddie and Wally (School Spirits), Bradford and Chen (The Rookie), Chimney and Maddie (9-1-1), Shane and Ilya (Heated Rivalry), and Tony and Ziva (NCIS: Tony and Ziva), among others.

Did your favorite TV couple win in their category? Here’s a look at the winners, the ships that landed in second and third place for each category, and the final vote counts in each section.

Category #1: Ship You’d Most Like to See Sail (or Sail Again)

For this category, the shows must have aired within the time frame, the show must be currently airing, and the characters must currently be on the show.

• WINNER: Buck and Eddie (9-1-1)
• Second place: Percy and Annabeth (Percy Jackson & the Olympians)
• Third place: Allie and Dean (Off Campus)

Category #2: Favorite Couple in a TV Comedy 

For this category, ships must come from comedy or animated series that aired between August 2025 and July 2026, and characters must have been on the show during that time frame.

• WINNER: Paul Baker and Anton (Adults)
• Second place: Gregory and Janine (Abbott Elementary)
• Third place: Georgie and Mandy (Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage)

Category #3: Favorite Couple in a Sci-fi or Fantasy Series

For this category, ships must come from a sci-fi/fantasy series that aired between August 2025 and July 2026, and characters must have been on the show during that time frame.

• WINNER: Kat and Elliot (The Way Home)
• Second place: Jamie and Claire (Outlander)
• Third place: Maddie and Wally (School Spirits)

Category #4: Favorite Couple in a Drama Series

For this category, ships must come from a drama series that aired between August 2025 and July 2026, and characters must have been on the show during that time frame.

• WINNER: Shane and Ilya (Heated Rivalry)
• Second place: Bradford and Chen (The Rookie)
• Third place: Chimney and Maddie (9-1-1)
