CSI: Vegas, NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i, and Survivor Among 9 Series Renewed at CBS
CSI: Vegas, NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i, and Survivor are among nine series renewed by CBS for its 2023-2024 season.
The other shows receiving renewals are the #1 news program 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, Tough as Nails, Lingo, and the true crime docuseries 48 Hours.

With this announcement, CBS has renewed 19 series, including Young Sheldon, The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola, So Help Me Todd, The Equalizer, FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted.
As previously reported, freshman firefighting drama Fire Country will return for Season 2. Additionally, the paranormal comedy Ghosts received an early Season 3 renewal in January.
Upon So Help Me Todd‘s Season 2 renewal earlier this month, CBS credited the hit drama as “Thursday’s #1 new series.”
“So Help Me Todd has charmed viewers with the incomparable chemistry between Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment.

“With the series’ unique blend of captivating legal drama, laugh-out-loud humor, and intriguing family dysfunction, it’s no wonder the audience continues to grow. I am delighted that these two inimitable characters and their entertaining banter will extend into a second season,” Reinsenback continued.
As for the FBI franchise, CBS announced its second, three-show crossover in January, sharing that the event spanning FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International would air on Tuesday, April 4, beginning at 8/7c.
NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i, and NCIS: Los Angeles recently debuted their first three-show crossover on CBS in January, which will now be their last.
Per Deadline, NCIS: Los Angeles will end with its current 14th season, and the procedural drama’s series finale is set for May 14 on CBS and streaming live and on-demand on Paramount+.

In addition to the renewals, CBS announced an early series order for the new drama, The Never Game, starring Justin Hartley.
“This season CBS is continuing its winning tradition, delivering an unparalleled combination of top returning series and new hit shows that are entertaining huge audiences on both broadcast and streaming,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment.
“It is a testament to the stellar work being done by our best-in-class talent in front of and behind the camera that we have had yet another exceptional season, and I know we will only continue to build on this foundation of outstanding programming as we look ahead toward next fall,” Reisenbach added.
Several shows are still awaiting news, like Blue Bloods, S.W.A.T., and one of CBS’ newest dramas, East New York.
