Nothing is certain in today’s TV climate, but we can sleep a little easier knowing the delightful Ghosts isn’t going anywhere.

CBS has green-lit the sitcom an early Season 3 renewal for the 2023-2024 broadcast season, assuring Woodstone Mansion will not close its doors anytime soon.

Ghosts is currently the #1 comedy series on Paramount+ and CBS. In a press release, president of CBS Entertainment Amy Reisenbach echoed these achievements, stating that Season 2 has “delivered episodes that far surpassed our expectations.”

“As the series continues to win fans on broadcast and streaming, we’re thrilled to bring back this touching and hilarious comedy for a third season.”

Based on the BBC series of the same name, the show stars Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky, and Devan Chandler Long. Along with showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman.

The sitcom established itself as a spectacle early on, acquiring a cult following when it premiered on CBS in October 2021.

Fans continue to celebrate the series for its incredible ensemble of characters and lighthearted comedic lens.

In addition, the show’s diverse storylines and desire to spark challenging conversations about mortality have bridged the gap between generations of TV watchers, becoming a show for the entire family to enjoy.
