CBS Announces Fall Premiere Dates for Elsbeth, Fire Country, NCIS: New York, and More

CBS has announced premiere dates for its fall programming, which includes new seasons of Elsbeth and Fire Country. It also features series premieres for NCIS: New York, Cupertino, and more. 

The network released its programming schedule in April. That announcement confirmed that those two freshman dramas, as well as the comedy series Eternally Yours, would debut this fall. 

With this news, those three new shows will officially premiere alongside the network’s returning shows during CBS Premiere Week. That kicks off on Sunday, October 4, with Marshals‘ Season 2 premiere and Tracker‘s Season 4 premiere. 

NCIS: New York, starring NCIS: Los Angeles‘s LL COOL J as NCIS Agent Sam Hanna and Scott Caan, will split CBS’s returning NCIS block. It will air between NCIS and NCIS: Origins on Tuesday nights. 

Meanwhile, Eternally Yours is set to follow Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage on Thursdays, while Cupertino will follow Robert and Michelle King’s returning CBS show, Elsbeth, that same night. 

TV fans will notice that a few fall favorites — namely, Ghosts, Matlock, and NCIS: Sydney — are being held as midseason releases this year. The freshman drama series Einstein, starring Matthew Gray Gubler and Melissa Fumero, will also premiere as part of that 2026/2027 midseason line-up. 

It will come as welcome news that there are two Ghosts specials to look forward to in this fall schedule. The two-episode Halloween special will air on Thursday, October 29. Then the Ghosts family will return with a two-episode Ghostmas special on Thursday, December 10.
