ABC Announced Fall Premiere Dates for 9-1-1, Abbott Elementary, Dancing with the Stars, and More
ABC has announced premiere dates for its fall programming, including the 9-1-1 universe, Abbott Elementary, and a special Dancing with the Stars season premiere.
The news comes amid exciting numbers for the network. Per ABC, it “delivered 10 of the Top 20 programs in the 2025-2026 broadcast season across Adults 18-49, more than any other broadcast network.”
Impressively, ABC also received the most Emmy Award nominations across broadcast networks for a second consecutive year.
The network kicks off its schedule with Monday Night Football on Monday, September 14. Then Dancing with the Stars Season 35 will have a two-night premiere, starting on Tuesday, September. RJ Decker‘s second season will follow it on that night.
ABC’s comedies, Scrubs and Abbott Elementary, will create a one-hour block on Wednesday nights. Thursdays welcome back the same procedural-driven programming from last season, starting with 9-1-1 at 8/7c. It’s followed by 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey’s Anatomy.
Celebrity Jeopardy! was previously announced for the network’s fall lineup, but it will return in 2027 with the midseason programming.
As a reminder, the following returning shows have also been held for midseason: The Bachelor, High Potential, The Rookie, Shifting Gears, and Will Trent. The Rookie: North and the Texas-set Grey’s Anatomy spinoff will debut in 2027 as well.
