A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 Premiere Date Announced by Netflix
Emma Myers’s Pip Fitz-Amobi is back to solve another mystery on A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2.
Deadline confirms that the six-episode sophomore season will premiere globally on Wednesday, May 27, on Netflix. It will also premiere that same day in the UK and Ireland on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
The first season debuted on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer ahead of its global release on Netflix in August 2024. It was based on Holly Jackson’s YA mystery book of the same title. The second season, which was announced in November 2024, is based on the trilogy’s second book: Good Girl, Bad Blood.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder‘s new season picks up after Pip solved the Andie Bell case in Season 1. Her “world has been transformed by her actions, and not always for the better. Pip is determined to fix the fallout – and stay away from any more investigations,” per the season’s description.
“But as Max Hastings’ trial approaches, key witness Jamie Reynolds suddenly disappears and Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him. This new mystery will take Pip to unexpected places as she struggles with the idea of justice, straying even further from the ‘good girl’ she once was.”
The first-look photos for A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder tease some intense interactions between Pip and Max (Henry Ashton), including some in court. Then again, they also show Pip with her friends and Ravi Singh (Zain Iqbal).
After they finally admitted their feelings to each other at the end of Season 1, it’s nice to see them lean on each other.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 also stars returning cast members Asha Banks as Cara Ward, Yali Topol Margalith as Lauren Gibson, and Jude Morgan-Collie as Connor Reynolds.
The season adds Misia Butler as Stanley Forbes, “a figure on the fringes of the investigation,” per Netflix’s TUDUM.
Eden H. Davies joins as Connor’s brother, Jamie Reynolds, with Jack Rowan as Pip’s new neighbor, Charlie Green. Plus, Freddie England will play Robin, “a controversial new member of the friendship group who starts dating Lauren.”
Executive producers Holly Jackson and Poppy Cogan, who adapted the first season for TV, are teaming up to pen the sophomore season. It wrapped production in July 2025.

“I am BEYOND thrilled that we can continue Pip’s story and, this time, I’m writing on the show! We owe everything to the dedicated fans, and I can’t wait to reunite with my AGGGTM family!” Jackson said in a statement.
“I’m delighted to be back in Little Kilton with Pip and friends for Season 2 and to have the opportunity to bring another of Holly’s gripping stories to the screen,” Cogan shared.
Moonage Pictures produces A Good Girl’s Guide for Murder Season 2 for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three in co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo.
Matthew Read, Simon Crawford Collins, and Frith Tiplady executive produce for Moonage Pictures. Lucy Richer, Danielle Scott-Haughton, and Katherine Bond do the same for the BBC.
