A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder to Stream on Netflix in 2024
It’s official! A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is coming to Netflix later this year.
The TV series is based on the bestselling mystery YA novel by Holly Jackson and stars Wednesday‘s Emma Meyers as Pip Fitz-Amobi.
“I’m thrilled about this show, and getting to be Pip has been a dream. Whether you’ve read the book or not, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is an experience all around. I think people are really going to like it,” Myers told Netflix’s Tudum.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder picks up five years after a schoolgirl named “Andie Bell was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh. Case closed. The police know he did it. Everyone in town knows he did it,” per the official synopsis.
“But smart and single minded Pip Fitz-Amobi isn’t so sure and she’s determined to prove it. And if Sal Singh isn’t a murderer and the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth?”
The BBC commissioned A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, which will premiere first in the UK and Ireland on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
BBC Three released a first look at the upcoming six-part series in February when it was in post-production.

Alongside Meyers, the series stars Zain Iqbal, Anna Maxwell Martin, Gary Beadle, Mathew Baynton, India Lillie Davies, Rahul Pattni, Henry Ashton, Mitu Panicucci, Orla Hill, Ephraim O.P. Sampson, Carla Woodcock, and Yasmin Al-Khudhairi.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder‘s ensemble also includes Jackson Bews, Jessica Webber, Matthew Khan, Georgia Aaron, Oliver Wickham, Adam Astill, and Annabel Mullion.
“I hope viewers will love discovering (or rediscovering) all the secrets and lies of our small English town — Little Kilton,” she tells Tudum.
“Viewers can expect laugh-out-loud moments from all the teenage antics, but also all the pulse-pounding twists you’d find in the darkest of thrillers,” Jackson added.

“Heartbreak, tears, gasps, swooning at all the PipRavi moments brought to life, watching behind a cushion, cursing my name… be prepared for it all when A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder hits your screens later this year,” Jackson concluded.
Poppy Cogan is the lead writer of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder. Dolly Well directed the series.
Florence Walker produces the show. A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder‘s executive producers are Matthew Read, Matthew Bouch and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures, with Lucy Richer and Danielle Scott-Haughton for the BBC, and Dolly Wells, Holly Jackson and Poppy Cogan.
Moonage Pictures, one of BBC Studios invested production labels, in co-production with ZDFneo and Netflix produces A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder. BBC Studios, who have a minority investment stake in Moonage Pictures, handle the show’s international distribution.
