A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Renewed for Third and Final Season by BBC and Netflix
Pip will return for a final case on A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.
BBC and Netflix have renewed the coming-of-age dramatic thriller for a third and final season. It comes after A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 premiered on Wednesday, May 27. The streamer announced the news through a video of the show’s star and executive producer, Emma Myers.
“I’m very happy that we get to bring everyone series three of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder. Thank you so much to everyone who has given this show love and support throughout! This has truly been an incredible experience, and Pip will be a character I will never forget,” Myers said in a statement.

“Book three is my favourite of all the books, so I’m very excited to show everyone what we’ve done. Get ready for a crazy time!”
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder‘s first season adapted Holly Jackson’s novel of the same name, and the second season did so with the trilogy’s second book, Good Girl, Bad Blood. The third season will round out the trilogy by adapting Jackson’s As Good as Dead.
“I am ecstatic that we are able to bring A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder to its (bloody) conclusion,” Holly Jackson said in a statement.
“As Good As Dead is my favourite of the book series and it’s by far my favourite season of the show too. You’ll see Pip as you’ve never seen her before. It’s dark, breathless, horrible and… somehow still manages to be funny. Come on back to Little Kilton for the final time…if you dare,” Jackson concluded.

BBC promises that A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 3 “will bring Pip’s ultimate investigation to its gripping conclusion.” The final season has already been filmed. It will consist of only four episodes, per Netflix’s TUDUM. That’s down from the six-episode runs of the two previous seasons.
Alongside Myers, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder‘s final season also stars Zain Iqbal, Henry Ashton, Asha Banks, Jude Morgan-Collie, Eden Hambelton Davies, and Yali Topol Margalith.
Sophie Klein and Sophie MacClancy produce. The executive producers include Matthew Read, Simon Crawford Collins and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures; Danielle Scott-Haughton and Katherine Bond for the BBC; alongside Jackson, Myers, and director Tom Vaughan. Moonage Pictures, part of ITV Studios, produces in a co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 3 will premiere exclusively on BBC iPlayer, BBC One, and BBC Three in the UK. Meanwhile, it will stream on Netflix outside of the UK. In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the show’s final season will be on ZDFneo; in Australia on Stan; in New Zealand on Sky NZ.
