Netflix’s new favorite mystery-solving duo, “PipRavi,” is coming back for another unsolved mystery!

Today, Deadline exclusively confirmed that Netflix and BBC’s live-action adaptation of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder has been renewed for Season 2.

Both Wednesday‘s Emma Meyers and Zain Iqbal will return as Pip and Ravi, respectively. Additionally, Season 2 will consist of six episodes, just like Season 1. However, there is no planned release date as of yet.

An announcement video was posted on BBC’s X account, which features series author Holly Jackson texting the cast about the renewal. In addition, the video reveals that A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Season 2 will be based on Jackson’s second book, Good Girl, Bad Blood.

In their own follow-up statements, Jackson and Season 1 creator Poppy Cogan also celebrated the announcement.

“I am beyond thrilled that we can continue Pip’s story and, this time, I’m writing on the show,” Jackson said, per Deadline. “We owe everything to the dedicated fans, and I can’t wait to reunite with my AGGGTM family.”

“I’m delighted to be back in Little Kilton with Pip and friends for Season 2 and to have the opportunity to bring another of Holly’s gripping stories to the screen,” Coogan added, per Netflix’s TUDUM.

Jackson’s second book, Good Girl, Bad Blood, sees Pip starting her own crime podcast after solving the Andie Bell case. Although she stepped back from investigating, she gets another case to find her friend’s missing brother.

Her mission sees her uncovering dangerous secrets as she races against the clock before she becomes a victim herself.

A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Season 1 left things on a high note for Pip. Not only did she solve Andie Bell’s case, but she also started developing a romantic relationship with Ravi. However, she still had to figure out how to handle things following the death of her dog, Barney.

All of this gets wrapped up in Season 2, which seems to follow in the steps of Jackson’s sequel novel.

According to TUDUM, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Season 2 will see the trial of Max Hastings, who was revealed as the main perpetrator. However, the trial’s key witness, Jamie Reynolds, goes missing before it begins.

The season’s description also teases that Pip will be tested in harsh circumstances, “straying even further from the “good girl” she once was.”

Jackson and Cogan serve as executive producers alongside Matthew Read, Simon Crawford Collins, Frith Tiplady, Lucy Richer, Danielle Scott-Haughton, and Katherine Bond.

A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Season 1 is streaming on Netflix.
