FOX Announces Programming for the 2025/2026 Season
FOX has unveiled its fall programming slate for 2025/2026! It’s full of new and returning unscripted series, with only a few live-action series making the cut.
The network shared the details of what’s coming during its in-person Upfront Presentation at the Manhattan Center. Among its six new series that will air during the mid-season lineup are the one-hour comedy Best Medicine, the dramatic thriller Memory of a Killer, and the scripted event series The Faithful.
Inspired by De Zaak Alzheimer (La Memoire Du Tueur), Memory of a Killer follows Angelo Ledda, a hitman and photocopier salesman when he is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s, discovers that his wife’s recent death may not have been accidental, and must uncover who is after his pregnant daughter.

Produced by Warner Bros. for FOX Entertainment, the drama series comes from Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone, who executive produce alongside Cathy Schulman of Welle Entertainment. Arthur Sarkissian and Martin Campbell are also executive producers, along with Peter Bouckaert of Eyeworks.
Meanwhile, Best Medicine is based on Doc Martin and stars Josh Charles as the brilliant surgeon Martin Best, who swaps his illustrious career in Boston to be a general practitioner in an East Coast fishing village where he spent his summer as a kid. Desperate to be left alone, Martin finds himself in the middle of “personal chaos, feuds, and fantasies.”
“What the locals don’t know is that Martin’s terse demeanor masks a debilitating new phobia and deep-seated psychological issues that prevent him from experiencing true intimacy with anyone. But tenacity is the creed of everyone in their small village, and the people who live there may be exactly what the doctor ordered,” per its synopsis.
Best Medicine, which is wholly owned by FOX Entertainment, comes from executive producers Ben Silverman, Rodney Ferrell, Howard T. Owens, Liz Tuccillo, Mark Crowdy, and Philippa Braithwaite.

“Building on our winning position in both key demos and co-viewing this season, FOX delivers a 2025-26 schedule that’s filled with irreverence, fun, and much-needed laughter,” FOX Entertainment CEO Rob Wade, said.
“Next year more than ever, we’re bringing that promise to life with a terrific slate to delight our audiences across linear, Hulu, and beyond,” Wade added.
Notably, The Weakest Link, hosted by Jane Lynch, will be a part of FOX’s fall lineup with an all-celebrity season in 2026, jumping there from NBC.
The returning FOX series include dramas Doc (Season 2) and Murder in a Small Town (Season 2); animated series Bob’s Burgers (Season 16), Krapopolis (Season 3), Universal Basic Guys (Season 2), and The Simpsons (Season 37).
The unscripted series filling out FOX’s fall line-up are The Floor (Season 4), Hell’s Kitchen (Season 24), Name That Tune (Season 5), and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test (Season 4).

Returning at midseason are comedies Animal Control (Season 4) and Going Dutch (Season 2); animated series Family Guy (Season 24), Grimsburg (Season 3).
The unscripted series returning at midseason include Beat Shazam (Season 8), Don’t Forget the Lyrics! (Season 4), Extracted (Season 2), Kitchen Nightmares (Season 3), LEGO Masters (Season 6), The Masked Singer (Season 14), and Next Level Chef (Season 5).
Memory Killer and The Faithful will premiere on FOX at midseason, as will Best Medicine. Seth MacFarlane’s American Dad! will also return to FOX with all-new episodes in 2026. 99 to Beat, Gordon Ramsay’s four-hour holiday event series, Next Level Baker, and Fear Factor: The Next Chapter will premiere next year.
After 9-1-1: Lone Star and Rescue: HI-Surf‘s cancellations, this schedule leaves Accused, Alert: Missing Persons Unit, The Cleaning Lady, Farmer Wants a Wife, and The Great North on the bubble.
