NBC Announces Programming for the 2025/2026 Season

Brilliant Minds, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, News, The Hunting Party

Following a slew of cancellations, NBC has revealed its 2025 fall schedule, which includes several long-running franchise dramas and the return of the NBA.

NBCUniversal will begin its 11-year agreement to present NBA and WNBA regular-season and playoff basketball games this Fall. The network is also adding the new comedy series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, along with two new unscripted series to its schedule for the new season.  

Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, The Hunting Party, and Brilliant Minds will all return this Fall. Comedies Happy’s Place and St. Denis Medical will return in November. The Voice and Dateline: NBC are also on the schedule.

The new comedy The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins follows a disgraced former football player who is on a mission to rehabilitate his image. It stars Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe stars Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way, and Jalyn Hall.

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins is executive produced by 30 Rock creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, and is written by Carlock and Sam Means. The series will premiere mid-season.

On Brand with Jimmy Fallon is a new competition series in which Jimmy Fallon starts a premier marketing agency and fills it with the most creative, clever, and competitive go-getters he can find. 

Surviving Earth is the other new unscripted series, which takes a look back to see not only how life survived cataclysmic events on our planet, but also how it managed to thrive. The eight-episode special event series will take an incredible journey into prehistory to learn the lessons from past mass extinctions.
