What to Expect from Doc Season 2 Episode 8: He Loved You
Amy pushes herself to the brink trying to remember on Doc Season 2 Episode 8, “He Loved You.”
Hannah’s plan with her brother to take down Amy, whom she blames for her father’s death, was revealed on Doc Season 2 Episode 7, ‘What I Did For Love.”
That plan is not to investigate Amy to prove she is somehow culpable for her father’s death and destroy her career that way. No, her plan is far worse and much crueler.
Hannah and her brother plan to use their access to Amy’s Westside login accounts to make it look like she is making mistakes, undermining her and leading people like Joan to think she is a liability. Worse than that, they are also gaslighting her and making her believe she is having lapses as well.
On “He Loved You,” the fear and the anxiety they are creating for Amy lead her to push herself too hard in her memory treatments. The promo shows her defying her doctor’s orders and even passing out in an effort to remember the doctor she saw in her last memory flash.
The doctor we know to be Hannah’s father, and the thing Amy’s brain is trying to warn her about.
While Amy is taking her treatments to an extreme, there is also another possibility as to why her results look so bad, or even why she passes out.
The promo also shows that Hannah and Danny gain access to Amy’s medical records, including access to her memory treatments. It wouldn’t be surprising if he does something to mess with her treatment, leading to bad results.
Elsewhere in the episode, Jake receives devastating news that affects his judgment in treating a patient and angers some of the Westside Surgeons.
