‘Fatal Attraction’ and ‘Rabbit Hole’ Canceled by Paramount+ After One Season
Paramount+’s catalog of scripted content continues to shrink with its latest cancelations: Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole.
Unlike Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, Star Trek: Prodigy, The Game, and Queen of the Universe which were canceled by Paramount+ in June, TV Line reports that both shows’ first — and now final — seasons will remain on the streaming service.
“Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole will not be returning for second seasons on Paramount+. We want to thank both series’ entire creative teams, crews, and the fantastic casts for their dedication to bringing these series to life,” a Paramount+ spokesperson said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Both Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole will continue to be available on Paramount+ for audiences to discover,” the spokesperson added.
Fatal Attraction, described by Paramount+ as “a deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and ’80s cultural touchstone,” had a three-episode premiere on Sunday, April 30. The season concluded with two episodes on Sunday, May 28.
The series starred Joshua Jackson as Dan Gallagher, Lizzy Caplan as Alex Forrest, Amanda Peet as Beth Gallagher, Toby Huss as Mike Gerard, Brian Goodman as Arthur Tomlinson, Alyssa Jirrels as Ellen Gallagher, and Reno Wilson as Detective Earl Brooker.
Fatal Attraction finds Dan in the present after serving 15 years in prison for the murder of Alexandra. While on parol, Dan attempts to reconnect with his family and prove his innocence.

The show from Paramount Television Studios also flashes back to 2008 when Dan and Alex meet, “his world begins to unravel after their brief affair threatens to destroy the life he’s built with his wife, Beth,” per its official synopsis.
Alexandra Cunningham serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer on Fatal Attraction alongside executive producer Kevin J. Hynes, with whom Cunningham developed the series, and executive producers Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television. Silver Tree also executive produces and directs five episodes.
Rabbit Hole had a two-episode series debut in March 2023, with Rabbit Hole Season 1 Episode 8, “Ace in the Hole,” streaming on Sunday, May 7.
Kiefer Sutherland stars as John Weir, “a master of deception in the world of corporate espionage, is framed for murder by powerful forces who have the ability to influence and control populations,” per the show’s logline.

“I’ve been an admirer of John Requa and Glenn Ficarra’s unique body of work for some time, and I’m thrilled to be working on this exciting new project with them and Paramount+,” Sutherland said when Paramount+ announced a series order for Rabbit Hole in May 2021.
“Reuniting with David Nevins makes it all the more special. I can’t wait to see you all with this show in 2022,” Sutherland added.
Rabbit Hole also stars Charles Dance as Dr. Ben Wilson, Meta Golding as Hailey Winton, Enid Graham as Josephine “Jo” Madi, Rob Yang as Edward Homm, Walt Klink as The Intern, and Jason Butler Harner as Valence.
Sutherland executive produces the series from CBS Studios alongside writer-directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, Charlie Gogolak, Suzan Bymel, and Hunt Baldwin.
