Everyone Else Burns Renewed for Season 2 at The CW
Everyone Else Burns has scored an early Season 2 renewal at The CW.
Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment, The CW Network, announced the news ahead of the British comedy making its series debut on Thursday, October 26, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
As announced by The CW earlier this month, this date is a change from its initial Tuesday night spot in the slate announced by the network in May.

The show initially premiered its six-episode debut season on the UK’s Channel 4 in January and received a second season renewal in May.
Everyone Else Burns follows the strictly religious Lewis family, “who believe the world will end within the decade. Patriarch David longs for the church to promote him. Long-suffering Fiona hungers for a life beyond sermons and squash,” per its official synopsis.
“Aaron is a model young believer – except his drawings feature the rest of the family burning in hell. And anxious 17-year-old Rachel is about to fall for someone who could save her social life, but also damn her soul.”
The comedy stars Simon Bird, Kate O’Flynn, Harry Connor, and Amy James-Kelly.

“Everyone Else Burns is a brilliant and bitingly funny series that is as much about family as it is about the end of days,” Schwartz said.
“There is truly no other comedy on television like it, and we are thrilled to work alongside the immensely talented writers and producers to bring the uniquely hilarious Lewis family to The CW for another season,” Schwartz added.
David Mapletoft and Oliver Taylor write Everyone Else Burns.
The show’s executive producers include Brooke Posch, Tony Hernandez, and Jax Media’s Molly Seymour, as well as Dillon Mapletoft and Oliver Taylor. Everyone Else Burns Season 2 will be produced by Jax Media and Universal International Studios in association with The CW and Channel 4.
