Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 11, “It Is What It Is, Until It Isn’t,” is going to delve into a new backstory of one of the newest characters.
Following the departure of April and Ethan, two beloved characters, it makes sense that the show will now pivot to new additions. With a new class of doctors, there’s no telling what could happen.

This episode looks like it will focus on Dr. Justin Lieu, who entered the medical profession “later in life,” although he’s hardly a senior citizen. Hopefully, fans will get more insight into what makes his character tick.
How much does the character’s history impact the doctor he is currently becoming?
There are certainly other characters for the series to explore. We may see more of Dean and his son, and maybe more of Maggie as she tries to re-claim her love life.
The One Chicago franchise is now firmly back after the holidays, and the drama is just getting started. This upcoming entry of Chicago Med is sure to be an action-packed ride.
