No, Ghosts Season 2 Episode 12, “The Family Business,” is probably not making a deliberate Supernatural reference.
That said, Ghosts‘ ability to juggle comedy, the supernatural, and complicated family dynamics makes it a natural successor to the Winchester brothers. But “Family Business” is here to shed light on a different relationship — between Hetty and Sam.
The distant relatives turned mother-daughter duo reach a breaking point when Hetty disagrees with Sam’s friendly demeanor towards her new assistant.
Hetty’s past difficulties with parenting will reveal themselves, while Sam learns a harsh lesson about getting involved in her employees’ personal lives.
On a much happier note, Sas and Jessica embark on their romantic fling, and adorable backseat flirtations ensue.
But as Sas broadens his romantic experience for the first time in 500 years, new insecurities about Jessica’s life on the road surface. Insecurities, the other ghosts undoubtedly help fuel.
The drama at Woodstone escalates as Ghosts continues to exploit the B&Bs new assistant.
