‘Loot’ Trailer and Premiere Date Released by Apple TV+
Who doesn’t want to watch a workplace comedy starring Maya Rudolph?
Loot is a 10-episode comedy coming to Apple TV+ later this month. It will debut its first three episodes on Friday, June 24, followed by one new episode a week every Friday.
From Emmy Award-winning creators Alan Young and Matt Hubbard, Loot stars Rudolph as Molly Novak, and Adam Scott plays her husband.
Per the description, billionaire Molly Novak has “anything her heart desires” until her husband of 20 years betrays her by cheating on her with a younger woman.

All of the private jets and smaller boats taking her to bigger boats — or “gigayacht” — don’t stop Molly from publicly spiraling and becoming the next best subject for the tabloids.
When she’s at her lowest, she gets a call from the Executive Director of her charity foundation — the charity foundation Molly didn’t know she had.
Said Executive Director is “no-nonsense Sofia Salinas,” played by Pose‘s Michaela Jaé Rodriquez, who desperately wants Molly to stop generating bad press.
Loot also stars Joel Kim Booster as Molly’s “devoted assistant,” Nat Faxon as a “mild-mannered accountant,” and Ron Funches as Molly’s “optimistic, pop-culture-loving cousin Howard.”

With that group of people in Molly’s corner, she begins her self-discovery journey, and the trailer proves it’ll include lots of laughs and heartfelt moments.
The star-studded trailer also suggests Molly may start her work with her charity foundation as a means to prove herself to her ex-husband, but, eventually, she will end up proving herself to herself.
As the description states: “Giving back to others might be what she needs to get back to herself.”
The comedy finds Adam Scott in another Apple TV+ production after the success of the thriller series Severance.

Loot is created, written, and executive produced by Yang and Hubbard. Rudolph executive produces, along with Natasha Lyonne and Danielle Renfrew Behrens, through their Animal Pictures banner. Dave Becky of 3 Arts also serves as executive producer.
Loot is produced for Apple by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
The project marks the second collaboration between Apple TV+ and Yang following the three-time Independent Spirit Award, BAFTA, and NAACP Image Award-nominated anthology series, Little America.
