Good Girls Canceled After Four Seasons
Our favorite trio’s crime spree has come to an end. NBC has announced that Good Girls has been canceled.
The cancellation comes less than 24-hours after the show’s two-hour summer premiere. There are currently five episodes left in the show’s run. They are set to air Thursdays through the end of July.

TVLine reports that Universal Television had hoped to bring the show back for an abbreviated fifth season, but the financials didn’t come together. NBC also announced that the show won’t be moving to a new home including Netflix where the first three seasons have performed very well.
The network will air the last two episodes on July 22nd at 9/8c.
Good Girls follows three moms, Beth (Christina Hendricks), Ruby (Retta), and Annie (Mae Whitman), who are down on their luck and decide to rob a Fine N’ Frugal as a one-time fix to solve their various financial problems. It sounded great in theory but the three women soon got embroiled in the workings of a dangerous crime boss.

Season 4 saw the women feeling the pressure of two FBI agents while Beth’s husband, Dean (Matthew Lillard), is in and out of prison.
As of Good Girls Season 4 Episodes 10 and 11, “Strong Sales Strong Hearts / Put It All On Two,” the series is averaging a total of 1.5 million total viewers with a 0.34 demo rating in Live+Same Day numbers. It’s down 18 percent from its Season 3 tallies and ranks next to last in the demo in total audience out of the 14 dramas that currently air on NBC.
