Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Teaser and Premiere Date Released by Disney+
The first teaser for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has debuted. It promises another round between lawyer/vigilante Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and his nemesis Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin of Crime (Vincent D’Onofrio).
A revival of Netflix’s Daredevil, Daredevil: Born Again, is set to return on Disney+ on March 24, 2025, according to the trailer.
A synopsis for the season (via The Hollywood Reporter) reads:
“In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil. But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”

The Daredevil: Born Again trailer opens peacefully, showing a montage of lead characters set to Childish Gambino’s “Lithonia.” Matt and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) dance together in an apartment.
As for the bad guys, assassin Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) enjoys a milkshake at a diner. Meanwhile, Fisk and his wife Vanessa (Ayelet Zurer) are living the high life among Manhattan’s elite.
Then the action picks up, and the sound goes out. Matt suffers from some kind of attack and stumbles. (Matt, who is blind, has other enhanced senses, including hearing.) The teaser then shows off the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, who meets Matt in a church and joins the action.

Ritter was the star of the canceled series Jessica Jones, a collaboration between Marvel and Netflix like Daredevil. Daredevil and Jessica had previously teamed up in the 2017 crossover series, The Defenders.
Fisk is shown boxing an unnamed opponent while New Yorkers protest his administration. His anti-vigilante task force is also cracking down on NYC and battling Daredevil.
In a bit of dark comedy, there’s a trunk shot of Fisk’s aides Buck Cashman (Arty Froushan) and Daniel Blake (Michael Gandolfini), apparently preparing to dispose of a body. Buck asks a disgusted Daniel, “Saw or shovel?”

The Daredevil: Born Again trailer also shows brief shots of Matthew Lillard’s new character, Mr. Charles (confirmed by IGN), therapist Heather Glenn (Margarita Levieva), and Matt’s late law partner Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson).
It’s unclear if Foggy’s appearance is a flashback or if his death will be undone.
Daredevil is based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name, created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett; Daredevil: Born Again takes its title from the 1986 comic storyline by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. The series has been renewed for a third season on Disney+
