Tell Tale TV’s Top Moments From Nov 27–Dec 3
This week’s picks from the Tell-Tale TV team include Arrow’s 100th episode, the big superhero crossover event on The CW, and more favorite scenes from the Gilmore Girls revival.
Not every moment can be listed, but here are a few of this week’s top moments in no particular order.
Arrow

Arrow and Oliver’s farewell to his mom and dad. Stephen Amell gives his great performance in the 100th episode of Arrow in basically a “What If” tale.
When Oliver gets to say good-bye to his parents and feel the emotion he feels, we see Oliver Queen at his most vulnerable.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life
Leave it to Jess Mariano to push Rory in the right direction once again.
On “Summer,” Jess returns to Stars Hollow and convinces Rory to write a book about her relationship with Lorelei. Not long ago Jess told Rory he couldn’t have written his own book without her. Now, Rory can say the same.
Although his appearance in the revival was sadly brief, Jess left a huge mark in the hearts of fans everywhere.
Legends of Tomorrow

The 4th part of the Heroes vs Aliens crossover on Legends of Tomorrow. The best moment of that crossover was when the whole superhero crew got together and were ready to go against the aliens.
LOVED that part and how that scene was well crafted showcasing each and everyone’s superhero ability alongside working together to defeat their enemy. Greatest part of the crossover!
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

On the last installment of the Gilmore Girls Revival: A Year in the Life, we get to see Lorelei in a very vulnerable position as she talks to Emily on the phone, revealing a past memory of her late father. It was heartbreaking to watch as she describes a fond memory of Richard with tears streaming down her face.
It honored Richard and also gave Lorelai and Emily a nice mother/daughter moment despite the distance. Lauren Graham’s delivery of that speech was stunning.
Gotham

On Gotham, we have to say that our favorite moment was Lee and Mario’s wedding. While the confession that preceded it felt very trite, we loved that the wedding was intercut with Jim fighting off guards. It felt very visceral.
