Will Trent Season 4 Episode 13 Review: Did I Screw This Up?
Love can be very complicated. That’s the message we can take from Will Trent Season 4 Episode 13, “Did I Screw This Up?”
The leading APD and GBI members are having an interesting year for romance. Faith fell for a criminal, but then Angie ended up married and happily in love. Also, Will finds the perfect situationship, but almost falls for a psychopath.
Then this lucky in love vs. unlucky in love pattern continues with “Did I Screw This Up?” Ormewood moves forward with his romance with Joan, but Casey breaks Amanda’s heart.

When we meet Joan in Will Trent Season 4 Episode 9. “It Was a Meat Cute,” we instantly feel their chemistry. However, it surprises us that they feel it too so soon, and she encourages him to ask her out.
Most of Angie and Ormewood’s case in this episode offers the opportunity for flirting and publicly airing out their missed opportunity. Ormewood has been one of the best things about Season 4, so you can’t help but applaud his happiness.
We hope this relationship goes on for a while. Nonetheless, I still strongly believe the show plans to eventually have Ormewood and Faith end up together. This likely just means we’re still a few more seasons away from that possibility.
Will Trent is here for a good and long time. However, Casey and Amanda’s relationship doesn’t seem to have the same longevity.
It’s still a bit unbelievable that Amanda didn’t see Casey’s deceit coming from a mile away. It seems pretty obvious from Will Trent Season 4 Episode 12, “I Hear It Now, I Was Good.” Her ulterior motive screams from the hills.

However, briefly, you doubt whether Casey truly is innocent, and this is all the result of an abusive man finally losing it.
Even if Casey plotted his murder, she is still a sympathetic character. She’s a victim who sees killing her husband as her only way out. You can’t help but be on her side, but you also can still dislike that she uses Amanda.
Casey clearly continues to try to use Amanda to the very end. It’s a sad goodbye to a relationship that Amanda seemed to enjoy. Faith also finally decides on Malcolm.
She closes the chapter by not reading his letters. It’s the right move. Nonetheless, as viewers, we remain curious about what he could have possibly said in them. Logically, we know it could never work.
Romantically, we mourn for what could have been.

JAKE MCLAUGHLIN
Love is complex and heartbreaking for Will Trent.
Stray Thoughts
- I hope the psychic Seymour makes regular appearances. I really enjoyed the character, and he could be a fun recurring character.
- I am happy that the Adelaide and Antonio story will probably continue for the rest of the season. That’s still so compelling, and it seems more realistic that Will has to continue with his life while the investigation continues.
- The main Ormewood and Angie case isn’t that fascinating, but I like that it introduced a fun new character and started the Joan and Ormewood romance.
- At this point, it seems like the show will have Angie pregnant for the full nine months.
