What to Expect from Doc Season 2 Episode 4: Something to Prove
Another new face joins the Westside staff on Doc Season 2 Episode 4, “Something to Prove.”
On Doc Season 2 Episode 3, “New Blood,” viewers were introduced to Hannah, played by Emma Pfitzer Price. Hannah is the hospital’s new intern, hired by Jake to help ease the staff load while TJ is recovering.
On “New Blood,” Hannah appears to be a likeable overachiever whose father worked at Westside. We also learn that her father has died recently. Even in the brief exchange Hannah and Jake have about her father’s death, it’s pretty clear that there is more to the story.
On “Something to Prove,” viewers will start to get at least some details about that story. Those details include the fact that Hannah’s father worked under Amy when she was chief.
From the brief glimpses we get in the promo, it doesn’t seem like Amy had the best relationship with Hannah’s father (surprise, surprise). Could Hannah somehow blame Amy for her father’s death?
It certainly seems like she has some agenda beyond just wanting to work at the hospital where her father worked.
Amy also continues to gain new memories on “Something to Prove,” and they appear to be warning her about something or someone, perhaps.
Is her brain trying to get her to remember something about Joan? Or maybe, she senses that Hannah is a threat of some kind?
Elsewhere on the episode, there is some fallout from Jake’s decision not to report the code of Amy’s patient on “New Blood.” Somehow, Joan not only finds out about the code but also that Jake chose to protect Amy and not report it.
They may not be a couple at the moment, but Jake’s feelings for Amy are putting more than his heart at risk.
