Doc Season 3 Episode 7 Preview: Did Amy Lie for Ben?
Are we finally going to learn what the big secret Ben is keeping from Amy regarding her involvement in his artificial heart project on Doc Season 3 Episode 7, “Heroic Measures?”
It sure seems that way from the episode promo. The promo shows flashbacks of Ben and Amy while they were romantically involved. That includes Ben asking Amy to lie for him.
It’s hard to imagine any version of Amy lying about a clinical trial that could have potentially adverse consequences for patients.
That said, on Doc Season 3 Episode 6, “Facade,” Nina Barker (one of the new interns’ stepmother and a major donor) had information about the study that she used to blackmail Amy.
Perhaps just as concerning as whether there is a big bombshell about the past about to drop on Amy is the episode description previewing complications regarding Amy’s brain health.
Other than the memory seizures that Amy has been having since last season, there hasn’t been much foreshadowing of any kind of major health issue.
People are understandably wary after everything that happened last season, but the seizures have mostly been an annoyance rather than anything to worry about.
Also, none of the other preview material hints at a health crisis for Amy, so we have little to speculate on.
Whatever it is, hopefully it won’t give Ben any ammunition to undermine her because between Ben and Nina, she sure seems vulnerable to past events being used against her.
