Doc Season 3 Episode 5 Preview: What’s going on with TJ and Sonya?
TJ and Sonya face their first real challenge as a couple on Doc Season 3 Episode 5, “S.O.S.”
At the end of Doc Season 3 Episode 4, “Great Expectations,” Sonya and TJ were pretty solid. TJ responded to the pregnancy news exactly as viewers expected. He wasn’t just supportive; he was excited to be a father and go on this journey with Sonya.
From that ending, it seemed as if the new couple had dodged their first real turbulence. However, based on the episode description and little teases in the promo for “S.O.S,” those warm fuzzies from “Great Expectations” don’t last long.
We may have already seen the cause of this new conflict on “Great Expectations’ despite all the love at the end of the episode.
Before telling TJ about the pregnancy, Sonya confides in Amy that, even though she knew TJ would be supportive and do the right thing, she was worried she might never know if it was what he really wanted.
That insecurity could easily creep back in and change her behavior after the excitement of sharing the news fades. Whatever the reason, it’s not just TJ and Sonya involved. Amy also gets pulled into the drama, as the promo previews in a quick clip of a confrontation between her and TJ.
Elsewhere on the episode, Amy deals with her own drama as she has several difficult memory flashes. The memories look to be related to Danny’s funeral and a physical altercation between Amy and TJ.
While memory flashes are nothing new for Amy, these particular flashes look like they will be especially difficult, both because of the nature of the memories and their frequency.
It’s rough times ahead for a lot of our favorite Westside crew members.
