ABC Announces Fall 2025 Premiere Dates for ‘9-1-1,’ ‘Abbott Elementary,’ ‘High Potential,’ & More

ABC has announced fall premiere dates for new and returning series in its 2025/2026 season, including 9-1-1, Abbott Elementary, High Potential, Grey’s Anatomy, and more.

The slate also includes reality shows, as well as the highly anticipated debut of the 9-1-1 spinoff series, 9-1-1: Nashville. Plus, Monday Night Football will return on most Mondays, beginning on September 8 with the Minnesota Vikings at the Chicago Bears. 

High Potential will return for its second season, which recently added Steve Howey as a series regular, on Tuesday, September 16. It will once again follow Dancing with the Stars (Season 34). The Golden Bachelor will return with a two-hour season premiere on Wednesday, September 24. 

The network’s comedy slate will kick off with Shifting Gears Season 2 and Abbott Elementary Season 5 on Wednesday, October 4, starting at 8/7c.

The 9-1-1 universe will continue with 9-1-1 Season 9 premiering on Thursday, October 9, at 8/7c. The series premiere of 9-1-1: Nashville will follow at 9/8c, and Grey’s Anatomy will return with its landmark 22nd season at 10/9c.

Ryan Seacrest joins Vanna White on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, starting on Friday, September 26. 

As previously reported, new seasons of American Idol, The Bachelor, Celebrity Jeopardy!, The Rookie, and Will Trent will debut in 2026. The new season of Scrubs will join that programming slate.

All original programming will stream the next day on Hulu, and Dancing with the Stars will also simulcast live on Disney+.
