It all kicked off with NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 9, “Mango Madness.” The team battled the Darwin heat as they searched for answers about the late Corporal David Garcia. Investigative threads led them to question Garcia’s Gunnery Sergeant Miles Jensen, where the team discovered a larger plan.
Now, the characters are on the hunt for the stolen stinger missile while solving a double homicide — all on the eve of a World War II commemoration ceremony.
They certainly have a busy case load for the NCIS: Sydney Season 2 finale. Therefore, it’s not shocking that Blue asks, “Is it just me or does everyone need to lighten up a little bit?” in the promo video.
That footage is where most of the teases about what’s in store on “Sting in the Tail” come from. CBS isn’t revealing much more with the photos from the episode. So, speculation will have to continue about whether the season finale will reveal what is on Colonel Rankin’s thumb drive until it airs on Friday.
Either way, NCIS: Sydney‘s journey is far from over after “Sting in the Tail” because CBS has already renewed the NCISVerse series for a third season.
