Technology poses a potentially deadly threat in the team’s latest investigation on NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 17, “Flight Club.”
By “team,” this episode means the whole team, which is refreshing when that hasn’t always been the case this season. Everyone, including Doc, Blue, and Trigger, is in on the action to discover the truth.
It seems like the death of a teenage girl could be tied to a company called Black Bolt, seemingly run by someone named Julian Black. The photos show JD and Mackey questioning him before he walks behind them in handcuffs.

Presumably, the photos of Mackey with some goggles on — and JD and Trigger by her side — are Mackey and the police using the same or similar high-tech military drone to see what could have possibly gone wrong.
Based on the NCIS: Sydney photo of Doc, it looks like the teenage girl died in the same building where a lot of other teenagers work on computers. That set appears to be a dark basement — a complete contrast from Julian’s office.
Could that be below the surface of Black Bolt?
If anyone would be able to get to the truth of the tech, it’s Blue, so it’s a good thing that JD and Mackey seem to have brought Blue into the mix. Meanwhile, it also seems like Blue and Trigger will try to get to the bottom of the drone itself. There are a lot of moving parts to anticipate with “Flight Club.”
