What to Expect from NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 9: Mango Madness
The team travels to Darwin to investigate the death of a U.S. Marine corporal on NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 9, “Mango Madness.”
The whole group, including Blue and Dr. Roy, visit Australia’s tropical north when the aforementioned U.S. Marine corporal is killed during a joint training exercise. The promo video suggests that U.S. and Australian troops were using homemade explosives. It’s up to the NCIS: Sydney team to figure out how and why.
The clips for “Mango Madness” show Mackey and JD following leads that have to do with live grenades making it onto the battlefield. Not to mention, JD puts a definition to the episode’s title — “where the heat gets under your skin.”
Meanwhile, the promo video and clips for the show tease that the characters, specifically JD, will have to adjust to an environment that isn’t quite like Sydney’s. JD says that he can adjust to any climate after being deployed in Afghanistan at the height of summer, but Evie doesn’t seem convinced that JD can take Darwin.
Blue has a list of things she wants to see and do while in Darwin. Roy seems keen on spending some of his time fishing with the chance to secure his name in the history books, as well as securing a million-dollar prize.
As if that’s not enough to anticipate, “Mango Madness” will also feature NCIS: Sydney‘s first nod to Steve Irwin — the late and exceptional environmentalist. That’s right — JD has to tell Mackey to watch her back with an alligator.
