What to Expect from NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 5: Black Is White

The death of a U.S. Navy attaché takes the team to a chess competition on NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 5, “Black Is White.”

The episode’s clips make it easier to understand the timeline of this case. However, before the team dives into that, NCIS: Sydney may provide some updates on Blue. Remember how JD and Mackey are the only ones who know that Blue fabricated nearly everything about herself in her NCIS application?

“Black Is White” will seemingly see JD press Blue on the matter. In the clip, Blue admits to not having any qualifications for the job. Moreover, she won two other people the university medal because they paid her for it. 

Any further questions are put on hold because Mackey gets the call about the attaché, who is seemingly found dead in a movie theater.

Doc, being perfectly Doc, relays the gruesome details over a salted caramel ice cream. Presumably, he will be the one who finds the USB lodged in the attaché’s throat. NCIS: Sydney‘s promos don’t reveal much about the USB’s contents.

In a different clip, Mackey sends DeShawn and Evie to the Australian International Chess Championship to ask Ali Azad a few questions. Ali is there as his daughter’s coach. Not only is Rana competing, but she’s winning. 

Meanwhile, Evie is poking fun at DeShawn for having a chess livestream on his phone and saying “third man” when they’re in the movie theater.
