Preview — The Rookie Season 7 Episode 6: Love (and Drama) Is in the Air
The team suits up for a night filled with love and drama at a charity event on Valentine’s Day on The Rookie Season 7 Episode 6, “The Gala.”
The episode’s photos tease John and Celina’s case of searching for a missing girl, but they don’t reveal much about Grey’s “unromantic assignment” for Tim and Lucy. Although, the promo video does indicate that the Chenford scene in The Rookie Season 7’s trailer will occur on “The Gala.”
The promotional material also reveals multiple familiar faces who will be sticking around — Luna Grey and Miles’s girlfriend Camilla — or returning for the gala.

One of whom is Genny Bradford, Tim’s sister, who has not appeared on the show since The Rookie Season 5 Episode 11, “The Naked and the Dead.” The promo video features a great exchange of compliments between Lucy and Genny, which leads Tim to say that Lucy “always” looks amazing.
There’s also a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it glimpse at Ben Levin as Scott. Celina meets him — and his dog — on The Rookie Season 5 Episode 21, “Going Under,” and has yet to see him again, at least on-screen, until “The Gala.”
That’s not all! T.V. Carpio, who last appeared on The Rookie Season 3 Episode 10, “Man of Honor,” as Angela’s Maid of Honor Gretchen, will also return to the series.
There is plenty to anticipate about “The Gala,” including a confrontation between John and Bailey about the burner phone burning a hole in John’s pocket.
