‘Tracker’ Season 2 and ‘The Equalizer’ Season 5 Set Premiere Dates on CBS

News, The Equalizer, Tracker

Tracker and The Equalizer will continue to share Sunday nights on CBS this fall.

The network confirmed this in its entire 2024-25 primetime schedule in April. It also revealed that both series will precede the new medical drama Watson in CBS’ Sunday night lineup.

While there is no premiere date for the series starring Morris Chestnut as the iconic Dr. John Watson, CBS has announced that Tracker Season 2 and The Equalizer Season 5 will premiere in October as part of CBS Premiere Week.

Its debut season ended with Tracker Season 1 Episode 13, “The Storm,” in May. Tracker‘s return will air on Sunday, October 13, at 8/7c, kicking off CBS Premiere Week and leading into Big Brother‘s season finale.

It will move to its regular time slot on Sunday, November 3, at 8/7c on CBS.

CBS announced that Tracker is the#1 non-sports show on television for the 2023-2024 season, the first non-sports show with that accolade in over two decades. The network cited the freshman drama as “averaging 11.58 million viewers per episode and has reached more than 81 million viewers since its February debut.”

The Equalizer will move to its regular time on Sunday, November 3, at 9/8c on CBS.

The network renewed the drama series for its fifth season in April. “The Equalizer, led by the incomparable Queen Latifah, has all the best elements of a powerful drama,” Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, said.

“The series is stacked with suspense, heroism, high stakes, and formidable characters our audience roots for. We look forward to another dynamic season,” Reisenbach added.
