This time, the team races to save Doc Roy when he and his dog are involved in a hostage situation at a local dog cafe.
It appears Sergeant Cath Welsh and her team also respond to the incident, which may provide additional conflict for the NCIS: Sydney team.

Anywho, at least Mackey and Dempsey arrive on their scene to save one of their own. The promo video teases that Jackson and Cooper may respond to a different case, or Jackson may be helping civilians out of the dangerous situation.
Regardless, Dempsey attempts to reason with Louie, who has strapped multiple explosives on their person, saying, “You’re in over your head.” While a good preliminary tactic, it’s more than likely that Dempsey and Mackey will need to do more to solve the case on “Doggiecino Day Afternoon.”
After all, the clock is ticking to save Doc, his dog, and everyone else.
