Preview — Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episode 6: Poirot
Supper at Six‘s success adds challenges to Elizabeth’s plate on Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episode 6, “Poirot.”
The newfound fame presents hurdles when Brie Larson’s Elizabeth pushes back against Rainn Wilson’s Phil on Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episode 5, “CH₃COOH.” Phil’s expression in one of the photos for this week’s episode hints that their contention is far from over.
Nevertheless, a new face will show itself around the studio — Fran Frask.

One of the first images from the show that Apple TV+ released showed Stephanie Koenig’s character on the cooking show’s set, and “Poirot” teases her arrival on the scene. The episode’s description and photos don’t reveal how Elizabeth and Fran cross paths after the former’s time at Hastings.
Elsewhere, Mad continues her quest to discover the truth — or any truth — about her father, Calvin Evans.
Plus, tensions around the freeway escalate after its introduction to the show through Harriet’s legal work advocating against it and for her neighborhood on Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episodes 1 and 2, “Little Miss Hastings / Her and Him.”
