Doc Season 3 Episode 6 Preview: Is Ben Going to Burn All His Bridges at Westside?
Ben continues to sow distrust amongst the Westside crew on Doc Season 3 Episode 6, “Facade.”
Dr. Grant didn’t come to Westside to make friends (truthfully, why he came to Westside is a bit of a mystery). That has been evident from his first day, when he ousted the chief of surgery and took his position.
Since then, he has constantly clashed with Amy and given the general vibe that he will impose his will even if he has to go through people.
It’s more of the same on “Facade,” where Ben seems to manipulate TJ and Soyna into helping secure funding for his study when his original funding is about to be pulled.
Both TJ and Soyna seem really upset about Ben using them for his own ends. Ben’s actions seem to hit Sonya the hardest emotionally. Which isn’t surprising, since it looks like whatever happens involves Sonya’s wealthy father. Someone she has a pretty complicated relationship with.
Still, while the consequences may impact Sonya the most, it’s worth noting that TJ is one of the few people at Westside who isn’t suspicious of Ben. So far, he’s been set up as Ben’s protégé.
We’ll have to see how the episode ends, but it sure looks like Ben might have burned one of his few allies at Westside. Ben is quickly using up any goodwill he might have started with. Sooner or later, all of that will have to come to a head.
