Slow Horses Season 3 Trailer Released by Apple TV+
Slow Horses returns sooner than you may realize.
The drama will premiere the first two episodes of its third season on Wednesday, November 29, on Apple TV+.
One new episode will be released weekly through December 27. The update brings Slow Horses back to the small screen one month before its initial premiere date, as reported in September 2023.

The critically acclaimed espionage drama’s six-episode third season stars Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb. It is adapted from Real Tigers, the third novel in Mick Herron’s spy series Slough House. The show is adapted for television by Will Smith, and Saul Metzstein directs the upcoming season.
As the two-minute trailer shows, “a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping-ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House,” will face a rogue MI5 team, who have taken Catherine Standish and wish for the MI5 that betrayed them to see justice.
On Slow Horses Season 3, “a romantic liaison in Istanbul threatens to expose a buried MI5 secret in London. When Jackson Lamb and his team of misfits are dragged into the fight, they find themselves caught in a conspiracy that threatens the future not just of Slough House but of MI5 itself,” per its synopsis.

Oldman’s Jackson leads the Slow Horses, though he needs “a team of good agents” in the season’s mission.
The Apple TV+ show also stars Academy Award nominee Kristin Scott Thomas, BAFTA Scotland Award winner Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Academy Award nominee Jonathan Pryce.
Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù joins Slow Horses Season 3 as Sean Donovan, the former head of security at the British embassy in Istanbul, along with Katherine Waterston who plays Alison Dunn, an MI5 agent who uncovers a dark secret at the heart of the agency.

Since Slow Horses debuted in April 2022, the series has received BAFTA Television Award nominations, including Oldman’s first for Best Lead Actor, as well as Jack Lowden for Best Supporting Actor.
BAFTA nominations have also recognized the show for Best Editing: Fiction (Katie Weiland); Best Original Music: Fiction (Daniel Pemberton and Mick Jagger); and, Best Sound: Fiction (Martin Jensen, Joe Beal, Duncan Price, Craig Butters, Sarah Elias and Andrew Sissons).
See-Saw Films produces Slow Horses for Apple TV+. Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Smith, Jane Robertson, and Graham Yost executive produce.
