Has ‘Wolf Pack’ Been Renewed?
Are you wondering where your new favorite pack of werewolves has run off to after Wolf Pack‘s season finale?
You will need to keep howling at the moon for some answers because Paramount+ has yet to renew the YA series for a second season.
From Jeff Davis, Wolf Pack Season 1 Episode 1, “From a Spark to a Flame,” premiered in January — the same day Teen Wolf: The Movie debuted on the streaming service.

The show was already on Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans’ radar because it marked the return of Sarah Michelle Gellar to the small screen.
Paramount+ announced her involvement as a star and an executive producer on Wolf Pack at Teen Wolf‘s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022.
Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, Wolf Pack follows Armani Jackson’s Everett and Bella Shepard’s Blake as their lives change forever after a California wildfire awakens a werewolf who bites and turns them. Gellar joined the series as Kristin Ramsey, a highly-skilled arson investigator who suspects a teenage arsonist.
Rodrigo Santoro joined the cast to star opposite Gellar by September 2022. While not announced then, the show’s debut would reveal Santoro as Garrett Briggs, a park ranger and Harlan and Luna’s father. Tyler Lawrence Gray’s Harlan and Chloe Rose Robertson’s Luna are two teenagers who were born werewolves.

Gellar and Santoro joined the previously announced cast of Jackson, Shepard, Robertson, and Gray.
Santoro’s casting announcement also revealed that Wolf Pack‘s production was underway in Atlanta, Georgia, with a premiere date slated for later that year. Eventually, Wolf Pack‘s debut got pushed back to January 26, 2023.
Paramount+ announced the show’s new premiere date at New York Comic Con, adding that Bailey Stender, Chase Liefeld, Hollie Bahar, Lanny Joon, Rio Mangini, Stella Smith, Zack Nelson, and James Martinez would join in recurring roles. Other cast members include Amy Pietz, Bria Brimmer, John L. Adams, and Sean Philip Glasgow.
Leifeld’s ominous character would eventually be revealed as Baron, Harlan and Luna’s biological brother, who is also the werewolf causing havoc in the characters’ lives. One of the detrimental side effects of Baron’s behavior is Nelson’s Cyrus, who is in a relationship with Harlan, being accused of the supernatural murders.

Wolf Pack Season 1 Episode 8, “Trophic Cascade,” the season finale that aired in March, unveils Kristin as more than an arson investigator. Not only is she the biological mother of Baron, Harlan, and Luna, but Kristin also plans to turn Garrett into a werewolf, too.
After the episode dropped on Paramount+, Sarah Michelle Gellar did interviews with outlets, instilling hope for a sophomore season.
Along with hopes to learn more about Baron, Gellar shared, “We have a writers’ room open, and we’re preparing, but everything is in flux right now with the strike. I think that’s the biggest issue. But the numbers, the fans — everybody wants Season 2,” with TV Line. In April, she told Variety that “the conversations are happening.”
Both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA have gone on strike since those interview occurred.

While it may be a while until there is confirmation about Wolf Pack‘s mortality, Paramount+ has a positive track record with its YA content. The supernatural drama joins a growing catalog, including iCarly, School Spirits, and Zoey 102.
Though awaiting news about iCarly‘s fate, Paramount+ renewed School Sprits for a second season in June.
It’s also worth noting that Wolf Pack is written and executive produced by Jeff Davis as a part of his multi-year deal with MTV Entertainment Studios.
Joe Genier and Mike Elliott serve as executive producers for Capital Arts. Jason Ensler is an executive producer on Wolf Pack.
