‘Zoey 102’ Sets the Date for a ‘Zoey 101’ Reunion at Quinn and Logan’s Wedding
Mark your calendar! A PCA reunion is set as characters from Zoey 101 come together for Quinn Pensky and Logan Reese’s wedding on Zoey 102.
Those original characters include Jamie Lynn Spears’ Zoey Brooks, Erin Sanders’ Quinn, Sean Flyyn’s Chase Matthews, Matthew Underwood’s Logan, Christopher Massey’s Michael Barret, Abby Wilde’s Stacey Dillsen, and Jack Salvatore’s Mark Del Figgalo.
Zoey 102 premieres on Paramount+ on Thursday, July 27, in the U.S. and Canada, and the following day in the U.K. It will premiere on Tuesday, August 1, in Australia, on Friday, August 11, in Latin America and Brazil, and on Friday, November 17, in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The sequel movie to the hit Nickelodeon series, which aired for four seasons from 2004-2008, was announced in January, with Paramount+ sharing that the film was in production in North Carolina.
Zoey 101, created by Dan Schneider, “follows Zoey Brooks as she enrolls in Pacific Coast Academy, a school that previously only allowed boys to attend. Throughout the series, Zoey and her friends navigate life as teenagers at a boarding school.”
Now, over a decade later, PCA alumni return to Malibu for Quinn and Logan’s over-the-top wedding, in which Zoey will be Quinn’s Maid of Honor. But, to do that, Zoey has to face “her on again, off again love interest,” who she hasn’t heard from since their failed trip to Hawaii, because Chase is also in the wedding party.
Joining the cast on Zoey 102 are Thomas Lennon, as Zoey’s boss Kelly Kevyn; Owen Thiele as Zoey’s friend Archer March; and Dean Geyer, as charismatic actor Todd, along with Audrey Whitby as Lyric, Logan’s younger sister and Zach Zagoria as Jordan B., a reality dating show contestant that Zoey must work with, per Paramount+.
The Zoey 102 trailer teases that Zoey and Quinn may work together on the reality dating show, which could be how Zoey crafts the plan to hire Todd as a fake Hemsworth — and her date to her best friend’s wedding. As for the engaged couple, Quinn and Logan couldn’t look happier to take the next step in their relationship.
Upon Zoey and Todd’s arrival at (possibly) a rehearsal dinner, just like on Zoey 101 Season 1 Episode 1, “Welcome to PCA,” Chase walks into a pole when he sees Zoey. Some things never change!
