Lessons in Chemistry Sets Premiere Date on Apple TV+
The limited series Lessons in Chemistry, starring Academy Award winner Brie Larson, is coming to Apple TV+ in October.
As previously reported, the show’s teaser trailer came with the news that it would premiere in the fall. The streaming service has officially revealed that Lessons in Chemistry will have a two-episode premiere on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Based on the bestselling debut novel of the same name by author, science editor, and copywriter Bonnie Garmus, the series will then debut new episodes weekly on Fridays through the finale on November 24, 2023.

Lessons in Chemistry follows Larson as Elizabeth Zott, a woman with dreams of being a scientist put on hold by a patriarchal society in the early 1950s.
As the teaser trailer shows, Elizabeth is fired from her lab, despite being one of the most capable and intelligent people there. So, she turns to a job as a host on a TV cooking show — Supper at Six.
There, Elizabeth “sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives — and the men who are suddenly listening — a lot more than recipes,” per the show’s synopsis.
Brie Larson took to social media to celebrate Lessons in Chemistry‘s premiere date, writing, “Children, set the table. #LessonsInChemistry premieres October 13 on @AppleTV,” on Twitter.

Lessons in Chemistry also stars Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker, and Thomas Mann.
Apple Studios produces the series for Apple TV+, and Lee Eisenberg is the showrunner. Louise Shore, Sussanah Grant, and Brie Larson are executive producers of Lessons in Chemistry.
Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan executive produce for Aggregate Films. Natalie Sandy executive produces through Piece of Work Entertainment alongside Eisenberg.
