Brie Larson Delivers ‘Lessons in Chemistry’ in Teaser Trailer for Apple TV+ Series
Welcome viewers!
Academy Award winner Brie Larson stars as a scientist who mixes up a cooking show in the first teaser trailer from Apple TV+’s Lessons in Chemistry.
Larson portrays Elizabeth Zott, “whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a patriarchal society,” per Apple TV+’s synopsis.

Larson also executive produces the series set in the early 1950s that is set to premiere on the streaming service this fall.
Lessons in Chemistry is based on author, science editor, and copywriter Bonnie Garmus’ bestselling novel of the same name that was published last year.
The Apple Studios series sees Elizabeth accept a job as a TV cooking show host and “sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives — and the men who are suddenly listening — a lot more than recipes.”
Even though Lewis Pullman’s character deems Elizabeth as “one of the smartest people in the lab,” she is fired from that job. That termination causes Elizabeth to change course to being Supper at Six‘s host.

From a cheering live audience to a little girl watching at home, the teaser trailer shows that Elizabeth will have quite an adoring audience as she takes on the TV gig, hoping to teach lessons that go well beyond the kitchen.
Lessons in Chemistry also stars Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker, and Thomas Mann.
Aggregate Film produces the series, with Lee Eisenberg serving as showrunner. Sussanah Grant is also an executive producer alongside Larson. Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan executive produce for Aggregate Films.
Natalie Sandy executive produces through Piece of Work Entertainment alongside Eisenberg. Louise Shore also serves as executive producer.
