Poker Face Renewed for Season 2 at Peacock
The mysteries will continue for Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie Cale! Poker Face has been renewed for Season 2 by Peacock.
The case-of-the-week show launched with a four-episode series premiere in January with Poker Face Season 1 Episodes 1 -4, “Dead Man’s Hand,” “Night Shift,” “The Stall,” and “Rest in Metal.”
Less than a month later, the mystery series scores a Season 2 renewal. Poker Face, which comes from T-Street and MRC Television, is Rian Johnson’s first TV show. Lyonne also executive producers under her production banner, Animal Pictures.

Per its logline, Poker Face‘s 10-episode season follows “Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.”
Peacock gave Poker Face a straight-to-series order in March 2021, with Rian Johnson stating, “I’m very excited to dig into the type of fun, character driven, case-of-the-week mystery goodness I grew up watching. It’s my happy place. Having Natasha as a partner in crime is a dream, and we’ve found the perfect home at Peacock.”
“Poker Face is one of those rare, undeniable shows that we all fell in love with from the start, but the critical acclaim and viewer response has been beyond our wildest dreams,” Susan Rovner, Chairman, Entertainment Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming said upon the show’s renewal.

“Working alongside the creative genius of Rian Johnson, Natasha Lyonne, and Ram Bergman, along with our partners at MRC and T-Street, has been a spectacular ride, and we can’t wait to hit the road for another season as we continue to build momentum across Peacock’s originals slate,” Rovner added.
Peacock’s Poker Face news joins the sophomore season renewals for Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Bel-Air (which premieres later this month), Wolf Like Me, Killing It, Dr. Death, and We Are Lady Parts.
Poker Face Season 1 Episode 7, “The Future of the Sport,” starts streaming on Thursday, February 16, on Peacock. New episodes will continue to drop through March 9.
Among that slate is Poker Face Season 1 Episode 8, “The Orpheus Syndrome,” which Natasha Lyonne co-wrote and directed. More star-studded guest stars are expected in those episodes.

Season 1 has already featured Adrien Brody, Benjamin Bratt, Brandon Michael Hall, Charles Melton, Chloë Sevigny, Clea DuVall, Danielle MacDonald, Dascha Polanco, Ellen Barkin, Jameela Jamil, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Judith Light, Lil Rel Howery, Luis Guzmán, Megan Suri, Nicholas Cirillo, Nick Nolte, Reed Birney, Rhea Perlman, Ron Perlman, Rowan Blanchard, S. Epatha Merkerson, Shane Paul McGhie, Simon Helberg, Stephanie Hsu, Tim Blake Nelson, and Tim Meadows, among others.
