Bel-Air Season 2 Teaser Trailer and Premiere Date Released by Peacock
“We’ve all got choices to make. But this time, no one chooses for me.”
Bel-Air is back for Season 2 on Peacock early next year, and Will has some decisions to make. He’s not the only one, though, as the short teaser trailer hints at what’s to come for the characters.
According to TV Line, Bel-Air‘s new season “will premiere with the first three episodes on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023; new episodes will stream weekly.”

The coming-of-age, dramatic reimagining of the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air also debuted with a three-episode premiere.
Bel-Air Season 1 Episodes 1-3, “Dreams and Nightmares / Keep Ya Head Up / Yamacraw,” debuted in February 2022 on Peacock.
Per Peacock, the series follows “Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.”
Deadline reports that Will is at a crossroads in Season 2 when “a new figure comes into his life who challenges what he’s learned in Bel-Air and competes for control of his influence. He juggles this while navigating his home life with the Banks family and trying to rebuild the trust that was broken at the end of last season.”

According to Deadline, Bel-Air Season 2 will see Will and Carlton’s brotherhood “evolve as they grow closer, but still challenge each other about their differences.”
Additionally, Hilary will “evolve as she becomes more of a boss in her influencer world and how that spills over into her relationship with Jazz,” aligning with Will’s voiceover of “set your own rules” when Hilary appears in the teaser trailer.
Not to mention, Bel-Air‘s upcoming season will see Viv and Phil struggle to balance “marriage and family while trying to forge their own career paths and reconnect to the things that are important to them.”
The Peacock series stars Jabari Banks, who stars as Will Smith and narrates the Season 2 teaser trailer, Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones.

Carla Banks Waddles serves as the showrunner for Bel-Air‘s second season. She takes over from Season 1’s showrunners, TJ Brady and Rasheed Newson.
The show’s executive producers are Morgan Cooper, Anthony Sparks, Malcolm Spellman, Will Smith, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, Andy & Susan Borowitz, TJ Brady, and Rasheed Newson.
The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Westbrook Studios.
