The Company You Keep Teaser Trailer and Premiere Date Released by ABC
ABC’s The Company You Keep teaser trailer sees Milo Ventimiglia and Catherine Haena Kim as a criminal and a CIA agent in love.
As previously reported, The Company You Keep was ordered to series by ABC in August. Per Collider,the new series will premiere on Sunday, February 19, at 10/9c.
The Company You Keep takes the timeslot of ABC’s The Rookie, which will air on Tuesdays with The Rookie: Feds when it returns in January.
TV Line reports that The Company You Keep is written and executive produced by Julia Cohen, and the ABC series is based on the Korean format, My Fellow Citizens.
Additional executive producers on the project include Jon M. Chu, Todd Harthan, Caitlin Foito, Russ Cundiff, and Lindsay Goffman.
The 30-second teaser trailer teases how a night of passion between Ventimilgia’s con man Charlie and Haena Kim’s CIA officer Emma leads to love, even though the dynamic duo is unknowingly on a collision course professionally.
The Company You Keep’s teaser leans into the romance tropes with Charlie and Emma’s meet-cute at a bar where Charlie pretends to be a yoga instructor and Emma, a pageant queen-turned-rocket scientist.
Per the logline, “While Charlie ramps up the “family business” so he can get out for good, Emma’s closing in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie’s family debts in hand – forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences.”
The ABC marks Milo Ventimiglia’s return to the small screen after his tenure as Jack Pearson on NBC’s This Is Us from 2016 to 2022. Similarly, Mandy Moore will do the same on Season 2 of Peacock’s Dr. Death.
The Company You Keep also stars William Fichtner as Leo, Tim Chiou as David, Freda Foh Shen as Grace, James Saito as Joseph, Sarah Wayne Callies as Birdie, Felisha Terrell as Daphne and Polly Draper as Fran.
