It isn’t a surprise that Chief O’Neil is trying to get the Intelligence Unit to stop investigating his son. That is why Chicago P.D. Season 10 Episode 8, “Under the Skin,” leads the team down a different path.

The Chief may think this is an easy case to get them distracted, but in reality it goes deeper than he can imagine. Sadly, this means Kim Burgess will have to deal with some demons of her own.

Episode description: To distract Intelligence from the investigation into his son, Chief O’Neal forces the team to handle a “dead fish” case; when that dead fish turns into a complicated heater case, Burgess is thrown back into difficult memories from her past.
