Emily Faces Big Choices in the ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 3 Trailer
Emily Cooper is at both professional and personal crossroads in the trailer for Emily in Paris Season 3 on Netflix.
TV Line confirms that the 10-episode season debuts on Wednesday, December 21, on the streaming service.
Emily in Paris Season 3 picks up one year after Emily moved from Chicago to Paris for her dream job. The trailer shows Emily stuck between two professional paths as she’s torn between Madeline at Savoir and Sylvie’s new, unnamed business.
As Deadline notes, the trailer reveals the answer to Season 2’s cliffhanger of whether Emily will choose Madeline or Sylvie — Emily chooses both.
Mindy questions if Madeline and Sylvie know that Emily is “pulling double duty,” to which Emily reveals that, of course, they don’t.
Not making a decision may catch up with Emily as she learns a new phrase in her French class: “Not choosing is still choosing.”
As Netflix’s logline details, “Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie — at work and in her romantic life — and what those decisions mean for her future in France, all while continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.”
Emily in Paris Season 3 will see Emily face the “hardest decision” she’s “ever had to make,” and the trailer teases that the decision isn’t only in the professional sphere.
Emily’s love triangle with Gabriel and Alfie appears to be very much intact in the upcoming season. So, the questions remain: Who will Emily choose (if either of them), and how will the decision affect her time in Paris?
Emily in Paris‘s award-winning creator and showrunner Darren Star returns at the helm of Season 3. Lily Collins also returns as the titular character and as one of the show’s producers.
Other series regulars include Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount. MTV Entertainment Studios, Darren Star Productions, and Jax Media produce Emily in Paris.
The Netflix series has received 3 Emmy® nominations, including Outstanding Comedy at the 73rd Primetime Emmy® Awards in 2021.
