Preview — Roswell, New Mexico Season 4 Episode 8: Missing My Baby
Liz returns to fringe science to figure out how Alex is contacting Maria on Roswell, New Mexico Season 4 Episode 8, “Missing My Baby,” leaving her in a difficult position.
I am excited to see what Liz uncovers about Alex from a scientific perspective because we never learned how he factors into Jones’s contingency plan. I am hoping for a wild, science-fiction explanation for this!
Elsewhere, Maria continues to connect to Alex’s spirit with Rosa’s assistance, but an unaware Michael catches them.
Max also keeps vital information from Michael, inevitably straining the relationship between the brothers. This secret likely involves Alex’s disappearance, which the whole group discusses in the promo video.
Alex has always been Michael’s weakness in remaining levelheaded, so I can see why the group would wait for more information before sharing their fears with him. However, Alex is the most important person in his life, so Michael is the first person they should tell.
This tension between Max and Michael sounds intriguing, especially since they have bonded over their romances recently. This type of betrayal runs deep.
Lastly, after learning that Tezca was her teacher on the Oasis on Roswell, New Mexico Season 4 Episode 7, “Dig Me Out,” Isobel tries to uncover more about her connection to this season’s Big Bad.

Episode description: With missing friends and mysteries abound, Liz returns to fringe science, but in working alongside her new mentor, she’s confronted with an unsettling revelation and a difficult choice, meanwhile, Maria uncovers the truth behind the “messages” she’s been receiving. Elsewhere, the bond between brothers is tested when Max keeps an explosive secret from Michael, putting them at odds during a critical moment. Lastly, Isobel tries to pull answers out of Tezca, only to discover that the villain in her story is not as clear-cut as she may seem.
