Griff’s proctorship is over, but any celebration of that will have to wait for another day on Good Sam Season 1 Episode 11, “Family/Business.”
As if the Griffiths don’t have enough on their plate already, Tina Kingsley decides to sell Lakeshore Sentinel. This stunning announcement comes as Griff prepares to return to surgery — without Sam’s official assistance as his proctor.
It also comes on the heels of Tina handing her son a very important envelope regarding Sam’s accident as a child and Griff’s condition during it. So, it seems Tina is making moves while it seems Malcolm has yet to make a decision.
Sam and Malcolm’s demeanor in the photos below suggests that things are still okay, and it would be nice to see these two try to keep their word not to let their families divide them all the time.
Either way, maybe Sam — who is constantly caught between family and business — can try and understand Malcolm’s responsibility to do what he thinks is best in relation to both of those themes in his life.
Plus, the conflict between Isan and Joey comes to a head as the surgical team prepares for a high-stakes lung transplant. Joey’s competitive nature can have quite the edge, and Good Sam has shown that.
The photos show that maybe Isan will make Sam aware of the situation. While that may further complicate things between Isan and Joey, it may help them from letting this rift affect a patient.
