Stranger Things Season 4 A First Look at ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4

A First Look at ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4

Previews, Stranger Things

After a brutal almost three-year hiatus, we’re getting closer to having Stranger Things back on our screens.

Stranger Things Season 4 is comprised of nine episodes, which will apparently be “super-sized” according to the premiere date announcement. Because of this, Season 4 will be split into two separate volumes. Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 premieres on Netflix on May 27, and Volume 2 drops a little over a month later on July 1.

Season 4 picks up six months after Stranger Things Season 3 and finds our ragtag Demogorgon fighting team split up — the Byers family and Eleven are living in California, Hopper is presumed dead but is currently in a Russian prison, and the rest of the group is back in Hawkins.

It’ll be interesting to see how the season unfolds considering we’re used to everyone being in the same town. Here’s hoping Eleven and Mike are reunited sooner rather than later in the season.

Stranger Things has also been renewed for a fifth and final season, as reported by Netflix.

While it is sad to know that our time with this show has an end date, knowing that it is going out on its own terms is such a relief. We’re guaranteed the ending that the creators intended, which will hopefully wrap up all the big, lingering mysteries and questions.

Season description: It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time — and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.
